Yazd , Iran

Yazd is located in the south and center of Iran and borders the capital of Hamedan province to the north, Isfahan province to the northeast, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari provinces to the northwest, Fars province to the south, and Kerman province to the east.

Yazd is one of the ancient cities of Iran and has many histories from the Achaemenid and Sasanian eras to the Islamic era. The city of Yazd is known as one of the cities with a long history in Iran.

Yazd is home to many historical and cultural monuments of Iran. Some of the important monuments and monuments of the city include Jamia Al-Azhar (Imam Ali Mosque), Hekmatiyeh Hill, Darayah Tower (Yazd Water Tower), Yazd Mosque and Akhvinian Library.

Yazd is famous for the production of handwoven carpets and rugs. Various handicrafts such as carpet weaving, leather embroidery, enameling and pottery are also popular in this city.
